Transparent starting points for product photography.
Product shoots are priced using studio time plus a per-photo rate based on how technically demanding the product is to photograph.
Studio time
Preparation & shooting
R1000 / hour
Includes time spent unwrapping, assembling, dusting, setting up, shooting and repacking products.
Simple
Easy-to-light products
R70 / photo
Typically non-reflective, non-transparent and not white.
Examples: food, clothing, cardboard packaging without metallic details.
Medium
More technical
R90 / photo
Typically white, reflective or bulky products.
Examples: plastic, brushed metal, white product on white background.
Complex
Reflective / transparent
R120 / photo
Products requiring extra lighting control.
Examples: glass, jewellery, polished metal and metallic labels.
